The Registrar’s Office at The American University of Paris offers services to faculty, students, and alumni. After carefully reading the following information, please do not hesitate to contact the Registrar's Office with any remaining questions.
Returning students register online on the AUP student portal after meeting with their academic advisors. Registration windows open according to class standing (determined by the number of credits earned and/or transferred in to The American University of Paris). Credits currently in progress are included in the determination of college level.

All registered, returning students must check-in at the beginning of the semester. At check-in, students confirm returning to the University, being physically on campus, and attending class. Students also update their contact information.
AUP students are issued one ID each academic year at no cost. Students who have lost their ID or had their ID stolen should request a new ID here.
An official transcript is a full record of classes taken and grades earned. Transcripts are necessary for various purposes, including but not limited to applying to universities or job posts. Transcripts can be ordered anytime on the online transcript request form.
The Registrar’s Office provides students and alumni with various certificates that attest to enrollment and graduation.
The Registrar’s Office handles the processing of many academic forms for undergraduate and graduate students.
Classrooms and function rooms are available to be reserved for conferences, presentations, and other student, staff, and alumni events. Rooms include lecture areas, computer and science labs, a video editing lab, and an art studio. Room reservations must be done through the room reservation tool. Rooms are booked in order of priority: academic courses, university events, recreational/club events.
In May of each year, The American University of Paris holds a commencement ceremony at the Théâtre du Châtelet to confer graduate and undergraduate degrees. Students finishing their degree must complete a degree application in order to participate in the ceremony.

The American University of Paris is a private institution that accepts for veterans of the United States Armed Forces and their families and reviews military transcripts for transfer credit evaluations. However, the university is not a Yellow Ribbon Program University.
